Cyber Monday sofa sales are live! Not only will you be able to get a great discount on couches right now, if you order quickly, you may even get yours delivered by Christmas. But, back to discounts: some brands are offering up to 80% off sitewide currently.

"As home deals go, discounts on large ticket items, such as the very best sofas, tend to be the most dramatic, as retailers look to offload end-of-season, end-of-line couches in order to introduce new collections to stores and warehouses post-Christmas," says Lindsey Davis, Ecommerce Content Director at Livingetc.

Where to shop for the best buys? For the past few months, I've been scouting sofa deals for you from my favorite brands to shop, from high end to the very affordable. My criteria? Experience of the brand, quality fabrication, competitive pricing, good reviews, and style. This is my must-see shortlist.

The Best Cyber Monday Sofa Sales

These are Livingetc's most-loved retailers for Cyber Monday sofa sales.

Today's Best Sofa Deals

When Do Cyber Monday Sofa Sales Start?

Cyber Monday sofa sales started first thing on December 2nd. Most are a continuation of the Black Friday sofa sales, which in themselves followed directly on from the fall sales that started way back at the beginning of October. Some Cyber Monday sofa discounts will start and end on December 2nd, others are touted to end on December 30th, but realistically we expect those to continue on after Christmas and into January.

When Do Black Friday Sofa Sales Begin?

Black Friday sofa sales began well in advance of Black Friday, November 29th in 2024, and those sales continued right through to Cyber Monday on December 2nd.

Are Black Friday Sofa Sales Worth It?

"Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday sofa deals can be quite dramatic, so it is really worth holding out for them," says Lindsey Davis. "I've been working as an ecommerce professional in the homes and interiors sector for seven years, and I've seen consistently great discounting in the run up and across Black Friday weekend into Cyber Monday. Typically, you'll see between 20 to 50% off recommended retail prices.

"My advice, however is to research ahead. Whether you're looking to shop affordable sofas, such as some of the best Amazon sofas, a couch for a small space or you are in the market for something particular such as loveseats, I would suggest bookmarking your choices, or putting them in a basket, then monitoring and comparing their prices. That way, you can swoop in on a deal on a sofa that you really want, and that fits your budget at just the right time."

Are After Christmas Sofa Sales Better Than Black Friday Sofa Sales?

"I've worked alongside Lindsey for seven years on Black Friday, monitoring sofa sales carefully and comparing them to after-Christmas sofa sales," says Lucy Searle, Livingetc's Content Director for Audience. "My advice across the board, whether you're looking for a sofa deal or simply some throw cushions to go on your new seating: discounts after Christmas are just as good as Black Friday's, but stock is often lower.

"In other words, if you've found a sofa discount that works for you over Black Friday, I'd order then rather than wait. You may save a few dollars more after Christmas, but your chosen sofa might no longer be in stock."

When is a Good Time to Buy a Couch?

New couches can run for thousands of dollars depending on your style and your chosen retailer, but a good sale markdown can cut hundreds off that total. Over Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year we saw deals of over $1000 off some very trend-led designs.

We are expecting deals to progress as we approach Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year — and we'll be monitoring the best of them here.
