An eco paint that improves indoor air quality
This eco paint is said to clean the air of impurities and comes in a range of cool colours

Painting our homes with eco paints can have benefits to our health and well-being, so we're all ears when it comes to hearing about a new eco paint brand on the block, particularly one that's available in in over 1000 colours, and from £4 per litre.
Graphenstone is one of the world’s most certified eco paints and it actively cleans the air. It is the brainchild of chemical engineer, Antonio León Jiménez, who dedicated himself to the idea of developing a natural, ecological and health conscious coating for the 21st century.
In the UK we spend most of our time indoors, particularly during the winter, so it makes good sense to make sure the air quality is as good as it can be.
Although most are now Low VOC, standard paints (acrylic, plastic, and oil based paints) can contain toxins that remain in the atmosphere for years.
Painting our homes with a toxin-free eco paint is a good route to cleaner air indoors.
Graphenstone paint is the first in the UK to contain Graphene – a 21st Century Nobel prize-winning material made from pure inert carbon.
15 litres of Graphenstone’s lime based paints absorb approximately 5.5Kg of CO2 (as well as Nitrogen Oxide and Sulphur Dioxide) from the local environment where it’s applied, turning your walls into an indoor air purification system.
Plastic free, toxin free and fully sustainable these paints incorporate Graphene technology to make it super strong and longer-lasting and it's also fully breathable.
This allows moisture to flow through the paint surface, which helps to reduce condensation, mould and mildew, creating a much healthier indoor environment.
“When people choose paint, they are thinking primarily about colour but it can be one of the most toxic pollutants in your home – the effects of which can last years," says Patrick Folkes, Graphenstone UK CEO.
"Graphenstone is high quality, sustainable and ecological and comes in a huge array of beautiful matt colours at the same price or less than other paints, with the unique ability to turn your own walls into air purifiers. We are also one of the most certified paints on the market with around 20 globally recognised awards (including Cradle to Cradle Gold) in the eco sector, so you know you’re getting what it says on the tin – a clean, green product that has positive health benefits.”
