experiential tours for women with wanderlust
By Jacky Parker
If you've ever fancied jetting off somewhere but your friends or loved ones are tied up with partners, kids, or work, we may have the answer.
Elle Voyage is a tour operator that has one clear aim: get more women travelling. Founded by Dawn Simone, an intrepid traveller who was left frustrated by a lack of female travel companions, the company provides group tours for solo women who harbour ambitions to see the world but sometimes lack someone to enjoy it with.
Whether you’re after the white beaches of Bali, the magical markets of Morocco, wine tasting in Florence or looking to sample street dishes in Vietnam, Elle Voyage has a variety of tours to choose from, including short breaks, weekends away, and long- haul tours of the world.
Elle Voyage tours include no more than 12 women – so they’re not cramped or so overcrowded that you feel like a number.
The trips are carefully curated and managed by a team of experts, so all needs and necessities are catered for, freeing up your time to enjoy the important bits – experiencing authentic cultures, uncovering hidden gems and fully immersing yourself in the local flavours – all whilst in the company of other linked-minded women.
The staff at Elle Voyage understand the needs and frustrations of their female guests so relate to them on a personal level. Born out of a desire to see the world with other like-minded women, the company aims to change the way women travel by offering them a safe, inclusive and enjoyable space to do so – that is also adventurous and exciting.
So why not step out of your comfort zone and try something new? It may broaden your world in more ways than you expect.
