Gilda Bruno is Livingetc's Lifestyle Editor. Before joining the team, she worked as an Editorial Assistant on the print edition of AnOther Magazine and as a freelance Production Journalist, Sub-Editor, and Writer on the Life & Arts desk of Financial Times. Between 2020 and today, Gilda's arts and culture writing has appeared in several books and publications including Apartamento’s Liguria: Recipes & Wanderings Along the Italian Riviera, Sam Wright’s debut monograph The City of the Sun, The British Journal of Photography, DAZED, Document Journal, Elephant, The Face, Family Style, Foam, Il Giornale dell’Arte, HUCK, Hunger, i-D, PAPER, Re-Edition, VICE, Vogue Italia, and WePresent, among many others. She used to curate an arts column for the ITV-backed Gen-Z editorial platform woo, Stop Scrolling, where every two weeks she brought readers a roundup of exhibitions, art fairs, and photo books to check out, as well as exclusive conversations with thought-provoking voices working within the creative industry. Gilda has collaborated regularly with Il Giornale dell’Arte, the Italian sister edition of The Art Newspaper, and Elephant, written essays and forewords for a number of volumes, and completed commercial assignments for clients such as The Face, PUMA, and Everpress. In April 2023, she was included in the 30 Under 30 list of Il Giornale dell'Arte alongside other Italian artists, curators, speakers, art historians, and writers currently reshaping the art scene. Gilda is the Editor of COSE Journal, an independent magazine exploring our relationships to everyday objects and their functions against the backdrop of overconsumption and capitalism, founded by Milan-based Art Director Giulia Nardi. When she isn't typing, you might spot her participating in or moderating panel talks, as she previously did at Tate Modern, Salone del Mobile, and Roca London Gallery.
