I’ve just relocated from the other side of the world, and right now, I’m still living out of my suitcase. As a former — and self-confessed — owner of a ‘floordrobe’ I didn’t think it would be this hard. But it is. My clothes are constantly crinkled, I can never find what I need when I need it, and I’m sure I’ve forgotten some of my favorite pieces that remain squished at the very bottom of my bag.

As such, I’m dreaming of the day I get to move into my new apartment (and closet!), and hereby swear not to take it for granted. I’m using this time to research, plan and buy all the best and most stylish closet organizers out there so that everything will be neat, efficiently organized, chic and most importantly, not on the floor.

With Memorial Day sales well underway and many of the pieces I’m picking currently marked down, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite finds with you, in case your closet could also do with a tidy up.

What kind of closet organizers should I buy in the Memorial Day sales?

Livingetc knows design. We spend hours testing and comparing the latest products, bringing only our edit of the very best to you. Find out more about how we review.

Like with all sale events, the discounts offered around Memorial Day can quickly become overwhelming and it's easy to get swept up in it all. In order to avoid buyer's remorse, the most important thing to keep in mind is to buy things that you actually need.

When it comes to closet organization, the Memorial Day sales offer a great opportunity to stock up on the basics: thinks hangers, boxes, storage crates and bags. It's also a great time to consider investing in some of the bigger pieces you may not have been able to justify before.

As always, assess the space you have, think about what you actually need, measure before you buy, and if you want to know the closet organizers to avoid during the sales, we've already revealed all.
