H&M released its holiday decor early - here's everything that's on my list

H&M always does the holidays well. In fact, as my go-to brand for affordable but elevated home decor, it's perhaps no surprise that its festive offering has got me excited, too.

So many of the designers we speak to use H&M Home as the place to finish off their schemes. H&M Home's furniture offering is a trove - newly grown to include lighting and larger pieces it is full of the sorts of styles that fit well into a minimaluxe scheme. Its festive approach is a little less,  well, refined, but that's no bad thing in my book. The holidays should be fun, and that's H&M's approach, too. 

Respectfully, there’s no need to wait until Halloween has passed to dive into the holidays. So by that logic, ‘tis already the season for warm drinks, cozy scarves, and lots and lots of shopping. And when it comes to where to buy Christmas decorations, you won't find a better one-stop shop. Change your decor from fall to festive with this early look at H&M’s Christmas collection, a few favorites from which I’ve gathered below.

H&M Christmas ornaments

H&M's ornaments are so wonderful and fun for the price. They manage to blend traditional shapes  - wreaths and bells - with contemporary ideas that work just as well. There is quite literally something for every tree. My favorites so far this year include a sparkly lemon, a spicy chili pepper, and a wreath that - by being made of bells - ticks all my trad fantasies.

As a candle holder hoarder, I was absolutely delighted by the selection of holiday taper candles on H&M's website. There aren't too, too many options, but what is available is so darling and fun.

Throws aren't, of course, a Yuletide exclusive, but they are particularly satisfying during colder weather. H&M's current selection includes a few stand-outs, including one extremely plush blanket I'm eyeing myself.
