Attention all Francophiles! Anthropologie's latest homeware collaboration showcases the vibrant, summery graphics ofL.A.-based handbag and accessories designer Clare Vivier, founder of cult brand Clare V, and the result is pretty magnifique.
The colourful and joyful designs are a nod to Clare Vivier’s summers in Île de Ré, France, as she puts a French spin on everything from scatter cushions and throws to towels and tableware, and offering a touch of the destination’s low-key chic for indoors and out.

The exclusive collaboration consists of 22 styles in her brand’s signature range of bright, bold colours and graphic prints.
Clare Vivier spent a lot of time at the beach during her family holidays to Île de Ré in France, and she used those memories as inspiration for the large, colourful beach towels and pretty beach umbrellas. 'My trips there each summer with my family are a constant source of inspiration, scouring the flea markets, riding my bike along the shore, and stumbling upon old architecture with the turn of every corner,' Vivier said.

'We spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer in Île de Ré, so we included the beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. The dishes are inspired by classic French porcelain with the gold rim, but we added our own cheeky element of the French designs to make them modern and not stuffy,' she added.
The collection was apparently also influenced by the artwork of Pablo Picasso when he lived in Cannes with his wife Jacqueline Roque.
