Explore Sandra Bullock’s former coastal chic home in Georgia
Sandra Bullock has just sold her beautiful island beach house, giving us a glimpse at her coastal-inspired interior style.
Sandra Bullock has sold her beautiful island beach house in Georgia, but we can still take a glimpse at her coastal-inspired interior style.
The actress first bought her waterfront home on Tybee Island in Georgia in 2001. However, she decided to sell the property after using it as her main 'retreat' for nineteen years.
She's also sold the island home fully furnished, with the exception of a few personal items.

Previously listed with Sotheby’s International Realty, the 3,360 square-foot four-bedroom main house came with over 1.6 private acres plus a 2,800-square-foot, three-bedroom guesthouse, which also came fully furnished.
The sale also included a basketball court, home gym, games room, outdoor grill and a pool with outdoor shower – not to mention private beach access.
The outside of the property is surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds, hedges and tall palm trees, with the steps leading to an expansive porch dotted with hammocks.

Inside, the interiors reflect the tropical setting, with lots of rustic, natural accents.
On the ground floor there's a large open-plan living and dining room, a chef's kitchen, and the master suite.
The predominately white interiors create a light and airy feel, with a nod to modern rustic.
The interiors are mostly white-washed, with white linen comfy seating, striped cushions, rattan and bamboo furnishings, ceiling fans, beachy accents including sailing boats on the wall, a potted palm, white shutters and lots of natural materials from the woven chest coffee table to the natural rug.
The double-height living room also features a mezzanine floor balcony that leads up to the bedrooms upstairs, exposed wood ceilings, and a fireplace.
The furnished open-plan dining area also overlooks the kitchen with pantry and came with a full-size table, eight chairs, and an ornate chandelier.
The white kitchen features a pretty breakfast bar area.
The master bedroom is also on the ground floor, with a clawfoot tub and private living room, giving it that hotel suite-vibe.
Upstairs are three further bedrooms, with four-poster beds and bunk beds, which were probably there for when her son's friends came to stay.
The upstairs room also share a den, a bathroom, and screened-in porch.
The guest house has three further bedrooms, as well as it's own games room.
But the highlight is probably the private beach access, which is apparently a prime location for dolphin watching.
The property includes nine parcels of land, three of which are vacant, buildable lots, according to the agent. The successful buyer still has time to transform it into a boutique hotel!
Both properties, which can sleep a total of 20 guests, have been previously offered as high-end short-term holiday rentals for those wanting to 'escape and unwind', but now the current owner can make this their permanent home.
Where does Sandra Bullock live now?
Reports suggest Sandra Bullock’s primary residence is currently in New Orleans, Louisiana. The star purchased a property in the esteemed Big Easy’s Garden District in 2009 with her former husband.
Despite their separation, Bullock often stays in her New Orleans base with her two children and current partner, Bryan Randall.
Her house in Georgia, which has now sold, was on the market for £4,989,100 with Ruthie Lynah Whitlow and Rachel Umbreit of Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty.
