Sofa.com’s luxurious Smart Velvets collection
Sure to bat away any seasonal blues, the look this autumn is all about punchy, vibrant shades.
‘Whether you choose a sofa in a striking statement colour or opt for opulent jewel accent tones, rich fabrics in bold colours are the most reliable go-to for instant glamour,’ says Vanessa Hurley-Perera, chief product officer at sofa.com.
And while we thought the combination of seriously squishy shapes and luxuriously soft fabrics was already quite clever, the sofa giant has just rolled out a line of new Smart Velvets, which promise to be more durable and longer-lasting than ever before.
Each one is Teflon coated meaning they have a fabulous durable and resistant quality that prevents spillages from sinking into the fibres too quickly. At 80% cotton, they retain that really luxurious feel which can be absent from other Teflon coated velvets, and their short pile make them irresistibly soft to the touch.
So no matter how many box sets you hunker down to watch this winter, your sofa won’t show any sign of it. Clever, huh?
