Curated Finds for Caecilie — Sideboard Finds
Contemporary oak sideboards curated for stylish, functional storage in your kitchen space
Dear Caecilie,
Inspired by your brief, I have curated your personalised edit. I have carefully selected a few options that I believe will work well for your space.
Finding a single sideboard with a minimum 300 cm width is quite challenging, so if you are set on one continuous piece, I would suggest considering a bespoke design. Most sideboards available online tend to sit between 140 cm and 200 cm in width, which means you may need to combine two units placed side by side. This is also a great practical solution and can look very cohesive when styled well.
In this edit, I have included two options that are currently on sale and sit within your budget, as well as one higher-end option that goes above budget but is a truly beautiful piece that I thought was worth sharing.
I hope you find something that works perfectly for your space and enjoy your curated selection.
Warmly,
Your stylist | Iokasti
This is a great option as it is currently on sale and finished in oak, which works well in a modern, contemporary kitchen space. It is 160 cm wide and 40 cm deep, so it offers good storage without being too bulky. I like that it has legs, as this makes it easy to clean underneath with a hoover. To meet the 3 metre width requirement, I would suggest getting two and placing them side by side. This would give you a total width of 320 cm. It is a stylish, contemporary piece, and the top can be styled with vases, books, or a table lamp to finish the look.
Another great option is this sideboard, which is also currently on a 60% sale. You could buy two and place them side by side, giving a total width of 360 cm, which comfortably meets the requirement. I really like the ash and linen detailing, as it adds a more elevated and refined touch to the space. It feels elegant while still being contemporary, so it would work well in a modern kitchen setting.
This is a more expensive option, but I thought it was worth sharing as it is a really stunning piece in solid oak with a much more premium feel in its design and finish. It is currently outside your budget, but if you were open to stretching it, you could get two of these and place them side by side. What stands out is the quality of the design. You can really see and feel the difference in the materials and detailing compared to the more budget-friendly options.
