When I'm feeling down or dreary or generally uninspired, one enduring truth consistently lifts my spirits: no matter what I'm going through, no matter what tragedy has befallen me, there will always be another Amazon sale on the horizon.

In my line of work, an Amazon sale is the equivalent of the Super Bowl — if, of course, the Super Bowl were to happen multiple times a year. There is the infamous Prime Day sale, an all-out blow-out that typically occurs sometime in the summer, and then Prime Big Deal Days, a lesser but still exciting slew of markdowns in the fall. And today, well ... today we have the Big Spring Sale, a little mid-season interlude where anyone on the hunt for discounted beauty, furniture, or home products can treat themselves to a little something without paying full price.
