If you’ve been holding out on buying a barbecue for summer 2021, now is the time to act. We've been able to track down last summer's sellout barbecue, and we don't think it will be around for long. The Everdure By Heston Blumenthal Force 2 barbecue was at the top of everyone’s wish list last year thanks to its forward-thinking design and portable frame. The stylish barbecue is now available in all three colours on the John Lewis site, and for those who want something a little bigger, it’s also available in a three-burner size.

So, what makes the Force 2 a sellout? Well for a start it’s a looker, available in mint, graphite, or a punchy orange. It’s also Heston-approved, with a high hood that can fit a whole turkey for some convection cooking. While it’s a gas barbecue, you can be confident that it will pack your food with plenty of smokey flavour, too. The grill plates and hood are enamel-coated and designed to be cleaned easily, and the die-cast body is designed to not rust.

Available in three striking colours when you shop right now, the Everdure By Heston Blumenthal Force 2 BBQ comes with everything you need to cook up a storm this barbecue season. That includes an in-built thermometer on the die-cast aluminium lid, and a large grill area for entertaining.

The two-burner barbecue may not be one of the largest options on the market, but it’s got 2358cm squared of cooking space to play with, as well as two fold-out serveries that make for easy entertaining. Ignition is conveniently electric, and the controls are sleek and tactile.

Delivery is estimated at 3 weeks when you buy right now. That means you could order this barbecue as a gift for your resident grillmaster, and have it arrive in plenty of time for Father's Day 2021.

The Force 2’s big brother is the Furnace 3, which has nearly 600cm squared more cooking space and all the charm and colourful design. This one’s selling out fast, so if you’re a fan of entertaining and want a grill fit for feasting, pick it up now.

If a two-burner is a little on the small side for you, there’s also limited availability of the Everdure By Heston Blumenthal Furnace 3. It’s more or less the same under the hood, but is packed out with an extra burner and a massive 2915cm of grill space for all the steak, sausages and halloumi you want.

The frame is also designed to be portable, with tapered legs supporting a storage shelf just above the lockable castors.
