Dear Poppy,

Inspired by your brief, I have curated your personalised cushion edit with a selection of cushion combinations designed to bring warmth, depth, and personality to your cream linen sofa.

As your space already has a very light and airy feel, I focused on cushions that would introduce subtle contrast and texture without overwhelming the room. Following your preference for a plain fringed cushion paired with a patterned design, I explored combinations that feel relaxed, and easy to live with, while adding the warmth that the room is currently missing.

I've included options in both soft green and warm ochre tones. The green palette feels calm, organic, and contemporary, while the ochre combination brings a little more richness and warmth to the scheme. In both cases, texture was just as important as colour, helping to create a more layered and inviting look against the linen upholstery.

I hope you enjoy exploring the edit and find a combination that feels like the perfect finishing touch for your living space.

Warmly,

Iokasti

Combination 1: Green Tones

I love this combination because it introduces colour in a very gentle and sophisticated way. The sage green cushion provides a soft base layer, while the fringed light green/neutral cushion adds texture and warmth. The patterned olive cushion is what ties everything together, bringing in movement and interest without feeling too busy. Together, they feel relaxed, contemporary, and perfectly suited to a light-filled living space.

Combination 2: Ochre Tones

This pairing feels warmer and slightly bolder while still remaining elegant. I chose it because the rich ochre tones instantly add depth and character to a cream sofa, helping the room feel more layered and lived-in. The velvet fringe cushion introduces softness and texture, while the patterned cushion brings a beautiful decorative element that feels contemporary. Together, they create a warm focal point that brightens the space while complementing the natural light beautifully.
