Nobu's first hotel in Mexico, Las Cabos (opens in new tab) is the ninth Nobu (opens in new tab) hotel to open, with more to follow in Barcelona and Chicago, later this year.
Founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, Nobu has grown from the popular restaurant – and celebrity and foodie magnet – Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills to a global brand that now spans five continents, offering its coveted lifestyle experience in many of the world's capitals.
Sitting on the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, Nobu Hotel Los Cabos has spectacular sea views.
Here the lively culture of Mexico meets the serene refinement of Japan, and the experience is of top notch hospitality, attention to detail and gracious service.
The200 ocean-view guest rooms blend contemporary Japanese minimalism with locally-sourced Mexican materials and natural finishes, resulting in a simple yet sophisticated style that instantly de-stresses and invites calm.
Custom-made furniture, wood-soaking tubs, shoji-inspired closet doors and Japanese lanterns all reflect Japanese-Mexican fusion at its finest.
Food wise you can indulge in Nobu's world-famous cuisine, with signature dishes such as rock shrimp tempura, miso black cod, or yellowtail sashimi with thin sliced jalapeño peppers at Nobo Los Cabos.
There's also the option of Malibu Farm restaurant, which serves up simple, farm-to-table dishes that are fresh, organic and locally sourced when possible.
There are light bites offered at the Beach Bar & Grill and Pool Bar & Grill, and there's 24-hour in-room dining too.
Nobu currently operates 38 restaurants across the world, with further new openings planned for later in 2019 and 2020.
