We've heard of peanut butter for dogs, we've heard of paw-secco, but a private members club for dogs? Where do we sign up?
It's not always easy to find a nice establishment you can bring your dog along to, so your pooch will be over the moon to hear about private members’ club George's new devoted dog offering.
Named after founder Mark Birley’s pup, George is already well known for being a dog friendly place, but now the club has set its sights on becoming the most dog friendly in all of London.
Part of the lavish Birley Clubs fraternity, George is a 'sibling' to Mayfair’s glamorous A-list attraction Annabel’s, and George is renowned for its sumptuous Nantucket-inspired interiors, David Hockney artworks, delicious seasonal menus and family-friendly feel.
The club explained that they value their dog visitors as much as their human members, and this initiative means the club can upscale the offering for them, whilst fundraising for incredibly worthwhile causes.

Pooches will be pampered with bespoke dog menus (we're imagining posh nosh like venison or rabbit), premium beds and bowls, plus George are hosting a series of fundraising events in aid of dog welfare.
In charge of said events is a dedicated ‘George Dog Committee’,comprised of canine-enthusiasts David Gandy, Carole Bamford, Yasmin and Amber Le Bon and Lily Fortescue to name but a few. These devoted dog lovers will be supporting the club with ideas and plans for causes in support of dog welfare.

We can just picture the the George Dog Committee meetings, in the sumptuous restaurant beneath Hockney’s beloved dachshund sketches of Stanley and Boogie.
The committee have already kicked off with an inaugural event that supported florist Nikki Tibbles’ Wild at Heart Foundation, a charity with an aim to bring an end to the world’s 600 million stray dogs.
