This is the softer, more understated option. At just under 120cm, the rounded top and substantial pedestal introduce shape without feeling too statement-making. The mid-wood finish brings warmth into a contemporary kitchen. I particularly like this if the rest of the space already has stronger architectural details and you want the dining area to feel calm and balanced.
This is the one I’d choose if you want the dining table to become a real focal point. The 120cm top, conical base and aged gunmetal finish feel way more sculptural, giving you that modern pedestal silhouette but in a material that contrasts beautifully with woods in the space. It has a slightly more collected, design-led quality than a conventional wooden dining table.
