Curated Finds for Sophia | Accent chairs

Inspired by your brief, I’ve curated a mix of armchairs that work with both the mid-century and contemporary sides of your style, while also responding to the strong colour story already in the room.

As I don’t have details of how the existing sofa looks, I’ve intentionally varied the silhouettes and visual weight. Some options sit lighter on visible legs, while others feel more grounded and cocooning, so you can choose what creates the best balance opposite the sofa.

I’ve also explored two colour directions: chairs that echo the petroleum, green and pink tones already in the space for a more tonal, collected feel, and warmer contrasting shades that create a stronger focal point. With a room this characterful, I think either approach can work beautifully. The key is making the armchairs feel connected to the scheme without looking overly matched.
