Curated Finds for Hannah | Coffee Tables
Inspired by your brief and the photos you shared, I’ve focused on coffee tables that feel practical enough for everyday eating and entertaining, but that also work with what’s already happening in the room. There’s a lovely mix of warm timber, deep blue, green and tactile finishes here, so rather than introducing another material, I’ve looked for pieces that echo those existing elements and help everything feel more connected.
I’ve also kept your current 70cm table in mind, choosing options that give you a generous surface or a little extra flexibility when you need it. Please do check the dimensions of the suggested coffee tables.
The mango wood feels like a natural continuation of your existing flooring and brings warmth into the centre of the room without introducing another finish. I particularly like the nesting design for your brief — you can pull the tables apart when you’re eating or have drinks and nibbles out, then tuck them back together when you want more floor space.
This would give the seating area a little more visual weight. The darker wood helps ground the deep blue sofa and green rug, and the textured finish picks up on the more tactile elements already in the room, including your leather bar stool. I deliberately avoided going too smooth here, you already have plenty of those cleaner surfaces, so a little texture makes the scheme feel richer and more layered.
This is the playful option. Your room already has some cool shapes and personality, so this feels like a chance to lean into that rather than play it completely safe. At 90cm diam. it gives you the practical surface you need while bringing something a little more unexpected to the centre of the room.
