We go on a lot about changing your home with the seasons. The quick switches you can make to cushions, curtains and more, that will make your home feel refreshed. Something we don’t mention as often is how a scent can have just as much of an impact on how your home feels, and how important it is to change your scents throughout the year too.
So we were very excited to see that WoodWick® has just brought out two new fragrances that are perfect to fill your home with fresh spring scents. So match those little updates you make to your home at this time of year – the lovely floral patterned cushions, flowing light voile curtains and vases of spring blooms – with an equally fresh and uplifting candle fragrance.
The two new spring fragrances by WoodWick® are Pressed Blooms & Patchouli and Wild Berry & Beets. And they smell every bit as lush as they sound. Inspired by earthy vegetables, summer woods and everlasting florals, they are both a perfect balance of light and fresh with a deeper, earthier side.
Pressed Blooms & Patchouli is the more delicate of the two new fragrances. Floral blooms mix with a deeper woody scent to offer a fragrance that isn’t too sweet or gentle, but still fills the room with a fresh spring scent. The top notes are white moss, orange flower and cade, mid notes of carnation, tuberose, and violet, and base notes of patchouli, vetiver, cedarwood, and balsam. Delicious, balanced and perfect for this time of year.
Wild Berry & Beets (how gorgeous does that combination sound?) is a deeper scent infused with oak, orange, and orris notes. It’s sophisticated but still fresh and fruity, with top notes of mint, wild strawberry and wild raspberry, mid notes of beets, orange and winter greens, and base notes of patchouli, oak and orris. If you like fruity scents but not up for anything too sweet this is perfect.
Along with the gorgeous scents, something we love about WoodWick® candles is the Pluswick® Technology, designed to create a gentle crackle reminiscent of a wood-burning fireplace.
