The cool new collection from Italian furniture brand Calligaris. It's major!
One of the stand out pieces from the new collection was this Coco lounge chair, the result of a collaboration between Calligaris and Italian fashion brand Blumarine.
The fashion companyhas always used feminine symbols in its designs, among them, the rose, which features in the latest Blumarine collection designed by Anna Molinari. Now applied to Calligaris' Coco chair for Autumn/Winter 2019-20, the rose print brings a fresh, flamboyant and feminine look to the home.
Other pieces that caught the Livingetc team's eye were the gorgeous Le Marais sofa. Designed by Stefano Spessotto, itssoft seat and plump backrest cushions combined with the metal tubular base makes it light, modern and informal, yet super-comfy at the same time.
One of the things we can't escape in the UK is the odd downpour, so what better way to store those brollies large and small than on the Minimum umbrella stand. Designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli it has a clean, simple outline and a double function to hang pocket-umbrellas and standard ones - oh and the base tray collects the drips - clever huh?
The Skyline coat hanger is so stylish, you wouldn't want to hide it away under a messy pile of jackets. Cue an edit of outerwear to keep it clutter-free. Out of the four shaped metal plates, two of them have a hole at the bottom that can also be used to hang those essential umbrellas.
There was also a fabulous rug collection, which features subtle colours and graphic effects to enhance the three-dimensionality of the weaving.LINEE, designed by Valerio Sommella follows a simple linear pattern, reproducing a Middle-Eastern decoration in charming shades of pink and burgundy.
