The ‘most expensive home in the USA’ is on the market - tour this luxurious pink palace
The sun-glazed Beverly Hills home served as a honeymoon destination for JFK and Jackie Kennedy

‘The most expensive home in the USA’ is on the market through a London-based estate agent for $119 million.
The Beverly House in Beverly Hills is drenched in golden Hollywood glamour after the esteemed actress Marion Davies purchased the property for her husband, the newspaper publisher William Randolph Hearst in 1946. Their heritage is reflected through the Art Deco home decor and sun-glazed Californian gardens.
Admirers of the silver screen may also recognize The Beverly House as the backdrop from The Godfather and The Bodyguard, whilst JFK and Jackie Kennedy also chose to stay in this blushing terracotta during their honeymoon. The couple then used the house as Kennedy’s West Coast presidential election headquarters.
Beyonce also used the house as the visuals for her album Black Is King in 2020.
The quintessential Italian and Spanish- style mansion spans across 28,975 square feet and includes18 bedrooms and 25 bathrooms, and a commercial-style kitchen.
Further notable features include a spa, cinema room, and a two-storey library with hand-carved paneling and a wraparound galleried walkway.
On the lower ground floor, there is a wine cellar and a private nightclub which just slightly upstages our home bar.
The property also has a 9ft tall mural, created by the renowned interior designer, Dennis Abbe - just in case you need another reason to fall madly in love with this property.
Nestled among its 3.5 acres of landscaped grounds are reflection pools and cascading waterfalls, which lead to the crowning glory of The Beverly House - the Olympic-sized swimming pool. The pool is framed by a Roman temple facade which was designed in the style of the iconic Neptune Pool at Hearst Castle in California.
The interior of the house is further characterized by its intricately carved ceilings, beautiful colonnades, balconies, French doors, and arched floor-to-ceiling windows.
Despite its Beverly Hills postcode, the mansion is currently listed with Beauchamp Estates, UK-based luxury agents who are renowned as a ‘go-to hub for the world’s super-rich.’
In his discussion of the palace, Gary Hersham, Founding Director of Beauchamp Estates, shared that ‘The Beverly House, one of the most magnificent private estates in California that is truly anchored in American legend.’
‘This is one of the most prestigious instructions for an American estate to be given to a London agency in many years and will appeal to our high-net-worth clients around the world,’ he added.
