Superfront's latest cool IKEA hack - get a handle on this stylish new design
Customise your cabinetry with a new IKEA hack: Twine handles and legs

We love a cool IKEA hack - and so do Superfront. Since first appearing in 2013, the Swedish brand (yes another one) has taken pimping IKEA cabinetry to a whole new level. Its series of stylish cupboards fronts, sides, tops and brassware include Carrara marble surfaces and brass taps and have won design fans the world over.
Its latest release - Twine handles and legs - is available from 30th October 2020.

With more than a whiff of 1930s functionalism about them, the Twine handles and legs have a clean, stripped-down design.
The series consists of two handles and a furniture leg and is available in several finishes: brass, copper, steel and black.
Set up by Mick and Monica Born, Superfront set out to offer well-considered design at a reasonable price. The couple do what they love most, offer the kind of design they want in their home.
Monica Born, one of Superfront's co-founders says, 'I have always admired handles with this type of wire wrapping. It may be found in the entrance of fancy department stores, but also in indoor environments created to last for centuries. There is something crafted and exclusive about it that makes it never go out of style. In the same way, we want the Twine series to be able to age – with grace and with time'.

Her partner, Mick, Superfront co-founder, adds, 'The design of the Twine series is indeed timeless, and if you want to give your kitchen or furniture a slightly more modern look, you may choose the handles and legs in black. The steel details, on the other hand, immediately add a stricter, industrial touch, while the warm metals provide a more classic feel.'
Mick continues. 'The latter are made of solid, untreated brass and copper, which gives the products an exclusive patina over time. With Long Twine, I have a hunch that we will step right into every fashionista's dream of a super elegant walk-in closet. And I definitely intend to have them in my new wardrobe,' Monica concludes.
