Curated Finds for Lana | Flush Ceiling Light
Hi Lana,
You gave such a clear brief here, which made the direction really lovely to work with. With the low ceiling, I wanted to keep everything feeling light and unobtrusive, while still bringing in some warmth through linen, softer neutrals, and simple shapes.
Because there are already quite a few other elements in the room, I’ve deliberately kept the edit quite calm. Nothing too statement-led, just pieces that will sit quietly in the space, soften the ceiling a little and work naturally with a modern farmhouse and Scandinavian scheme.
I’ve also kept your 230cm ceiling height in mind, so I’ve prioritised fittings with a shallower profile wherever possible and noted where an option sits slightly outside your preferred measurements.
Stylist Note: For your room, I’d probably start with the Camden. It feels the most balanced in terms of scale, colour and simplicity, and I think it would quietly complement the room rather than drawing attention away from everything else.
The Anna would be my next pick if you want something a little softer and more Scandinavian in feel.
This feels like the most natural fit for your brief. The oyster linen has that warm beige-taupe softness you were looking for, and the simple drum shape keeps it very easy on the eye.
I particularly like this one because it gives you the texture of linen without making the ceiling feel busy. It also sits nice and close to the ceiling, which makes it a really sensible choice for the height you’re working with.
This one leans a little more Scandinavian and feels softer and more relaxed. The linen finish and slightly gathered shape give it a bit more character, but it still feels quiet enough for a room where you don’t want the lighting to compete with everything else.
It is slightly smaller in diameter than you originally had in mind at 40 diameter, but the proportions are still very gentle, and I think it could work beautifully if you’re happy for the fitting to feel a touch more understated.
This is the most polished option in the edit. It still has the softness you wanted, but the cleaner detailing gives it a slightly more tailored feel.
The width works really well for your brief, although it does sit a little lower than your ideal depth. I’d consider this one if you want something that feels a little sharper and more refined while still staying neutral and easy to live with.
I included this one because the texture is really beautiful. It has that natural, tactile quality that works so well with modern farmhouse interiors, while the simple shape keeps it from feeling too rustic.
It is larger and deeper than your preferred dimensions, so I’d see this as more of a style-led option instead of the most practical fit. If you love it, I’d definitely measure the drop carefully first.
