Curated Finds for Geo | Relaxed Accent Armchairs
I wanted to include this because the leaned wooden frame gives it that relaxed Mediterranean feel without looking too casual. The removable cushions add softness and make it feel much more inviting, while the overall shape still stays light and understated. It feels easy, warm, and very natural in a dining room corner.
When I think of a relaxed and comfortable armchair, I think of something you can properly lean your head back into, which is why I wanted to include this high back option. The slim frame keeps it feeling light and contemporary, while the forest green upholstery brings depth and would tie in beautifully if you already have greenery in the space. The sloped arms also soften the shape, so it still feels relaxed rather than too structured.
This option gives you sleek comfort. The high back and lumbar cushion offer proper support, while the Scandinavian inspired light wood frame stops it from feeling too bulky. I also like the straight armrests, as they give you somewhere natural to rest a drink or book, making it feel practical as well as comfortable.
Lastly, this leans more contemporary, but the frame is beautifully design-led. The sling shape gives it that relaxed, slightly leaned back feel, while the padded seat and headrest cushion make it feel much more comfortable than a typical accent chair. It’s a strong option if you want something refined, but still easy to sit in.
