IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE LIBERTY CHRISTMAS
It's pretty magical inside the store, too, with a charming Liberty Christmas Story theme that will push writing to Santa at the top of everyone's to do list. Step through the doors and the central atrium features a dramatic levitating hot-air balloon that is visible from each balcony.
Taking the animals carved into the panels and pillars of the iconic building as inspiration, the Liberty designers have created a series of distinctive Christmas prints. Hand-drawn in the store's design studio, the print adorns the huge balloon, and has been translated into a world of Yuletide creatures that inhabit the stores' 10 Great Marlborough Street windows.
If you're looking for special gifts, the ‘Liberty Christmas’ print features on a host of limited-edition products in the Liberty silk and signature Tana Lawn Cotton, too.
Liberty London silk scarves, pyjamas, bow ties and ties can be snapped up for adults, and if a festive outfit for the little ones is in order, there are shirts, dresses, and bibs in the printed silk-like cotton. There are also Christmas stockings and a 'Christmas at Liberty’ colouring book, published by Harper Collins.
Within the charming window scenes, there's an array of tempting gifts for foodies, fashionistas and design lovers.
And with six floors of fashion, beauty, homewares, accessories and childrenswear, there's plenty to fill festive stockings for all the family and imbibe your parties with lashings of Christmas spirit.
Expect to see Fornasetti, Tom Dixon, House of Hackney, Mud Australia, Rockett St George and many more top-notch brands among the interiors and homeware offering on the store's 4th Floor.
