Collab Alert: Made x Rains

Design brand MADE.COM has partnered with Danish rainwear brand Rains on a capsule collection of waterproof bags and outerwear just launched in time for spring – and we've placed our orders already.

As an ode to the North, the collaboration explores a colour palette inspired by the Northern Lights. Focusing on the green of Aurora Borealis, MADE x Rains have created a tonal collection including the colours Dusty Mint, Green and Pacific, all from the Rains archive.

The MADE x Rains Northern Lights colour palette has been applied to a number of signature pieces from the Scandinavian rainwear brand’s SS19 collection.

The line-up includes: Backpack Mini, Tote Backpack, Weekend Duffel and Tote Bag Rush.

From the brand’s outerwear collection, products available include the signature raincoat, Jacket, in Dusty Mint and Green (shown above).

Ruth Wasserman, MADE.COM Design Director said: “We love collaborating with exciting new partners and our team were already big fans of Rains. We have a shared passion for design, innovation and style which made this collaboration a no brainer. The modern, nordic aesthetic synonymous with Rains and the Northern Lights inspiration made the colour choices of this collection a seamless process.”

If you love this colour palette, MADE will also be expanding its lifestyle offering with complimentary tones. A collaboration with renowned Dutch bike brand, Veloretti, will see mint and green bikes, each in two sizes – and to complete the look, MADE will be introducing their Bobbin bike helmets from 2018, in new colourways.
