Sara Dal Zotto is an Italian bilingual journalist, copywriter and communication consultant based in Rome. She writes in both English and Italian about lifestyle, architecture, interiors, art and design, with work published in The Guardian, The Observer, AD, Vogue Living, Marie Claire Maison, ELLE Decoration, IDEAT and D la Repubblica, among others, and regularly translated for editions around the world.
Her passion for visual culture took root long before her career began, growing up in a family passionate about the arts, and was further shaped by her experience directing a pop surrealist art gallery. After studying Media Studies at the University of Bologna and the University of Sussex, and living abroad, she built a career spanning editorial journalism, strategic communication, advertising and teaching for universities and companies.
She is drawn to stories that reveal the people, ideas and creative processes behind contemporary culture, and is particularly interested in how creativity and the human voice evolve in an increasingly AI-mediated world.
