Charlotte Luxford

Charlotte is an interiors journalist with more than 15 years’ experience as a writer and editor in the industry. She has written for major newsstand titles from The Guardian and The Times to glossies including Homes & Gardens, Livingetc, Ideal Home, and Architectural Digest.

Prior to going freelance, she was formerly the acting editor of Grand Designs Magazine, steering the magazine in a new direction and overseeing a new look for the title. She also worked for online publication Culture Trip as architecture and design editor, working closely with institutions including the Design Museum and London Design Festival, as well as interviewing design heroes such as Thomas Heatherwick and Sir Terence Conran.

Aside from writing, she also offers interior design consulting in the Southeast, using her unique insight and experience as a homes journalist to create characterful spaces that are tailored to suit both the home and the client.
