Gorgeously graphic wallpaper that gets our vote
IN MY MIND is a graphic and expressive wallpaper collection created by the Swedish illustrator and designer Erica Jacobson.
Erica studied at Konstfack University and works in Stockholm, illustrating and designing everything from posters, children's books, theatre posters, and book covers.
The wallpaper collection consists of seven unique patterns in clear and vibrant colours – and is accompanied by nine posters.
Erica gives us a glimpse into her exuberant material world, filled with colourful patterns that radiate joy and energy. Her intuitive sense of colour and form has become her distinguishing trait and her characteristic expression emerges in every wallpaper pattern
Patterns feature a modern yet retro look inspired by Niki de Saint Phalle, Matisse and classic Vogue covers from the 30s.
Each wallpaper pattern is hand-drawn and has been created from Erica's black and white drawings, which she then digitally colours.
With their cheerful shapes and warm colours, IN MY MIND creates a dramatic work of art and a fun conversation starter.

Erica says, 'I wanted the wallpapers to feel handmade. For every brush and pen stroke to convey a living expression. I make several black and white drawings to give myself a quantity to choose from. Most often, it is the sketchier drawings that come out best, because they are somewhat unconscious. If you try to correct them and do them "properly," it is easy to lose the feeling in the expression.'
Let your wallpaper fill the room with a whole new energy and joy of life - the trend for colour and print is here to stay.
