HOMI, The Lifestyle Trade Fair, is back for 2022 – here’s everything you need to know
Next month Fiera Milano will once again host the home décor exhibition, with a variety of exhibitors, workshops, talks and awards, all with a focus on artisanship and sustainability
HOMI, The Lifestyle Trade Fair, is back with another inspiring and influential exhibition for March 2022. The event is entirely focused on home decor, rising trends, and innovative exhibitors to demonstrate the now in interior design and modern living.
Hosted in Fiera Milano, the exhibition continues to focus on the much talked about topic within the interior design industry – sustainability and artisanship. The overarching theme of ‘Made In’ explores the importance of sustainable living, with many exhibitors featuring sustainable projects, products, and materials.
The huge variety of exhibitors, both Italian and international, are dedicated to displaying decorative objects, accessories, tableware, textiles, and perfumes that are at the core of contemporary living, exploring key themes and predicting trends both within the design industry and the wider world.
And this year’s focus on sustainability goes beyond the exhibitors and the pieces on display, such as the collaboration with Kiki-Lab to create the KI-LIFE Sustainable Award, to acknowledge and reward Italian and international companies that have created products with sustainability at the heart.
And as well as the latest products, there will also be talks, workshops, and webinars led by twelve major architectural firms from across Italy and Europe with a focus on the evolution of the retail experience, linking shopping with emotion. Other talks include the importance of creating spatial flow in a post-pandemic world where we are all striving to create more open and inviting homes and advice on reusing materials in order to be more sustainable when starting new design projects.
HOMI will take place From the 11th to 14th of March 2022 at Fiera Milano, Milan. For more information about the event and to purchase tickets, visit https://www.homimilano.com/en/visitare/biglietteria.html.
