Savoir Beds and National Gallery’s home masterpieces

When great brands get together, something special always happens. In the case of bespoke bed specialists Savoir and the National Gallery, it was a masterstroke...

We love a collaboration at Livingetc. The clever fusion of seemingly random elements to create something fresh and new is what makes the interiors world so vibrant right now.

Unsurprisingly, a new venture from Savoir Beds, Andrew Martin and The National Gallery got our hearts racing. The collaboration means  any painting from the gallery’s collection can be printed on to velvet, linen viscose or cotton fabric and hand-upholstered onto a headboard for one of Savoir’s bespoke luxury beds.

With The National Gallery housing one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world, you’ll be spoiled for options. Impresssionist, expressionist, pastoral landscape… the choice is yours.

Whatever you go for, from a Monet to a Degas and a Turner to a Rembrandt, you can tailor the picture, crop it, zoom in or out and move it around until it works for you, then have it printed on lustrous velvet, textured linen viscose or classic cotton.

Customise it further with finishes such at wooden trim, piping, decorative nailing and a selection of wooden, brass and upholstered legs and you’ve got a product that’s totally unique.

Every bed is then finished with a bespoke plaque detailing the portrait and artist – which can also be personalised to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
