Livingetc teamed up with one of Britain's hottest new designers Zoe Murphy and Tent, who run the major fair in the East End during London Design Festival, to offer one lucky reader the chance to have an item of furniture brought back to life.
Emails featuring well-worn household items were received by the dozen, but Ruth Fitzgerald's scuffed and scratched chest of drawers (pictured) pipped them at the post to receive lashings of style TLC from Zoe Murphy.
The chest of drawers once belonged to Ruth's father and she estimates that it's upwards of 50 years old. Zoe will be treating the chest of drawers to a style makeover soon, so keep an eye out for fabulous 'after' pictures.
We'll also be announcing the date of a webchat with Zoe in the next few weeks so start storing up those questions.
