Not content with showing off beautiful blooms and fabulous foliage, this years Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is going for heat in the shape of chillies, garlic and mustards.

The Garlic Farm is showing a display with 10 different types of garlic, and you can get up close to one of the hottest chillies in the world, the Dorset Naga – taste it at your peril.

If you're not a curry fan, the show will still have its traditional components of world-class gardens in a unique setting, making for a perfect English summer outing.

Book tickets from rhs.org.uk/flowershows. The event goes on until 12 July.
