Amanda and Martin's home is a mix of modern and vintage...
A chance encounter led former fashion designers' Amanda Sellers and Martin Barrell to swap their hectic London life, running trend decorative interiors store Maisonette, for a picturesque parsonage in Suffolk. 'When we spied this perfect pink house, nestling next to a church, it was love at first sight,' says Martin.
'We decided to close the business after seven years in December. We had no retail ambition left, and finding the parsonage has ignited a new passion for restoration,' says Martin. Now the couple are pooling their creative skills and focusing on doing up historical properties. Their signature style – mixing late Sixties/Seventies furniture with antiques – sits surprisingly well in their atmospheric home.
