Sweetness and light in a Bangkok town house

Kati hasn't just picked a random palette of rainbow shades to decorate the modern town house she shares with her German-born fiancé, Jens Niedzielski, and her 13-year-old son, Papong. The soft-rose colour of the couple's bedroom walls, the bubblegum of the kitchen splashbacks, and the vivid turquoise of the skylight have all been chosen for their mood-boosting qualities. 'It's worth taking time to choose the right colours, testing them on walls, in different lights and with different furniture and fabrics, because colour can change your life,' says Kati.
