Afternoon people. Ugh, tough day at school...now ive got to do some much needed housework and light the fire! Least its been a dry day.......
everyone sounds well, Talking of ebay; I was bidding on some enamel boxes/tins on ebay last night but lost out. This house was renovated with no storage, bloomin nightmare. We have spent quite a few quid on oak shelves from a place down in Kent...should be getting them within the week. We will hopefully be able to empty the boxes of books that have been sitting there since august...
nice to 'meet' some new faces [waves]

LOL! Hi FF. I know what you mean about storage - our house is one of those standard box houses and we have spent forever building and finding storage, the rooms are just so impractical for day-to-day life!
Damm Ikea in Bristol, I have been waiting weeks now for a frame to come in stock and this morning they had 1 in and now it's gone I've got a lovely print (Griffo!) waiting to go in it! I just can't justify the drive over the bridge to Cardiff and petrol for a frame! Ggrr!

rubbish!! I've got some nice art work that was 'nice' at the time and I dont want to display it anymore, nor do I want to throw it out.... I have however made a 'gallery' from photos I've taken. I'm a bit arty-[****] when it comes to taking piccies

FF they are draconian about naughty words here, but to be fair it was as part of dealing with the many spammers offering physical "enhancements" and "treats"!!!
Still it just means we have to be more creative with our spellings!
Homework, LOL, my yr7 daughter has art homework....... she has to draw a chocolate bar that she has taken a bite out of, but she cant finish the bar till she has finished the homework, torture by snickers bar!!!!

What evil witch-teacher thought that torture up NC? You could get your daughter to draw an apple with a bit taken out and tell the teacher she's only allowed sweets on weekend I'd love to see the teacher's response. (Sorry FF - hope you're not the teacher concerned )

I just got back from the docs. I've been pooping myself all weekend because i found a lump under my armpit and managed to convince myself that i only had a few months to live (the down-side of an over-active imagination!).
By the time the doc had a look it had almost gone and she said it was probably just an in-grown hair or mildly infected follicle. I can't tell you how relieved i am though.

Really? I mean, i can understand the getting to eat it part being good but the having to sit and stare at it for ages first is just mean.

oh lindsay, must have been a worry for you, but glad its vanished!
The chocolate bar homework... asking a 7 year old to draw a chocolate bar is quite a task. In 3D or just as she see's it? If your daughter was a pupil of mine I'd be asking her to come up with a jingle to sell the chocolate bar, or to make an advert for it, with a group. Or even, BE the chocolate bar...... (drama teacher)
Has anyone got any potatoes? I've stuck a pie in the oven and hubby said he wanted potatoes. Think its gonna have to be the chip variety instead.....

Thanks guys. I feel a bit like a hypochondriac now though.
I have some new potatoes but i suspect the london-scotland journey would take longer than your hb could bear. Send him off down the chippy for a bag and a deep-fried mars bar
Can we have our own choccy bar jingle competition?
Chocolate bars are very good but they're not a proper food Snickers, Bounty or KitKat eat too many and you'll get fat

No chippy near us - thank god!
I like the idea of a jingle comp though!!!! Yours is very good. (trying not to sound like a teacher there)
I have a favourite chocolate bar Its goes by the name of Snickers but if I eat too many i will need some bigger knickers!???

Lindsay, FF is right - can't be too careful. My OH is a doctor so forever asking for various lumps/bumps to be identified. Loving the chocolate jungle. Mmmmm, snickers.......
FF - got plenty of very tasty organic spuds here...... but again, regardless of where you are in Scotland you're not going to be in Hereford before tomorrow morning. Where in Scotland do you live? So you're a drama teacher! Any chance of helping me with some lines for a play I'm doing?

Bandrews, What play are you doing? Can certainly help if I could! I'm in the very picturesque area of Perthshire; 'The gateway to the Highlands' or so they say.
If my father in law had taken the time to go to the docs about stuff he'd still have a leg, and a bowel and prolly a few other things too. My husband packs me off the docs over the slightest thing now which I find rather anooying lol but least he cares
I shall vanish for a while whilst I go and get my dinner Judging by the portion size I wont be getting thinner!
aw gawd, what have you started!!???
back in a bit!

Sorry she is yr7 = 11yrs old and she loves art, she has spent the last couple of weeks making a motte and bailey castle out of rabbit netting, papier mache and toothpicks, frankley its a relief to get my kitchen table back.
Bandrews does he have any interest as in my experience doctors are amazingly uninterested unless they are at work, mind you I got a blackthorn thorn stuck in my hand and ended up at the vet to get it out, its nearer than minor injuries and the amount we pay them !!!!!

Are you organic as well then Bandrews? We had 10tonnes of organic spuds last year to feed to the cows, they loved them and so did we, they were beautiful spuds we couldnt find anything wrong with them!
I thoght Flash Forward was going to be back straight after christmas, I have seen some trailers for it but not saying when!!!! I will probably miss it.
