Hi there Lyndsay, your house is beautiful and a great example of what you can do to a period house with a limited budget and hard graft (not easy I know with 2 small children). I particularly love the girls' room. Can you tell me where you got the lovely tree decal from? Congrats on your gorgeous home and good luck with the rest of the makeover....

Thanks fortiesfever! You did make me laugh with your 'modern shoebox', so glad and honoured that our house inspired you!
Littlemissshoes, the decal is called 'Season' from Lula Sapphire, link below, and was really easy to put up and not one of these that you can't move, I had it up for a few months, then needed to move it when I put the little kitchen in there and it was no problem whereas some you can't move once you apply them.

Hi! Your house is just beautiful, and as a Glaswegian living in Yorkshire, I am feeling very homesick just looking at these picutres!I was wondering where you got the print in your hallway, i think it's a bird and says Pretty Little Things on it? I also am loving your black and white prints of the tenements, and wondering where you got those too? It would be nice to have a bit of Glasgow on my walls!

Hi Veronica, sorry you are feeling homesick but on the bright side I know Yorkshire is lovely too and surely it must rain a BIT less there!
The 'Pretty Little Things' print was an Etsy bargain found here:

The Glasgow photos were by a brilliant photographer called John Cooper and although I bought them from an art stand at Princes Square (sure you know it well!) I've found that they are also available from his website here:

Thanks for that Lindsay. Coming home to Glasgow in March so will take a trip to Princes Square then.
Certainly don't have as much rain here, but there's nowhere like Glasgow!

Absolutely stunning! I've tried scanning all the comments and sorry if its already been asked but where is the wall sticker from in your girls room? I'm thinking of going all white in my little boys 'big boy' room and would like a funky wall sticker (he has the same kitchen too!) I've scribbled down a few of the websites you've recommended so am looking forward to researching his room. I want to get going now but also having two little ones im shattered and my bed is calling. Tomorrow is another day! Well done you though, I love your house!

Hi Hannah, glad you like it! The little red children's kitchen is great isn't it. The wall sticker in their room is from Lula Sapphire here:

I've also recently found another couple of places that do amazing wall stickers for the whole house and they are Bouf.com and also madeindesign.co.uk (look under 'home decoration/stickers'). 'Made in design' have a gorgeous height chart I noticed here which would also be lovely in a child's room:

Good luck with your son's room!
