My First Sewing Project
      #86873 - 29/01/2010 11:44

Hello everyone,

I started a sewing class a few weeks ago and I've just finished making this handbag. The last time I used a sewing machine was at school about 15 years ago so my sewing skills were practically non-existent when I started the class. Although it was a relatively simple project I'm really pleased with the result and thought I would share with you!

Very cute, and I love the fabric - no wonder you're chuffed!

Lovely - like everyone else has already said - great fabric. Loving the retro styling.

Looks great! You have inspired me to dust off my sewing machine and use the fabric I have been hoarding. Where did you find the lovely handles?
