Here are a few mosaics I made, I’m completely self taught on these. The shoe is made from the finest quality Stained glass and has real magazine text embedded saying things like "new boobs" and the mosaic itself reads "fetish", the heel tip/buckle is real gold leaf smalti. I've used some textured stained glass too adding contrast. Approximate size: 31x45 Centimetres The Angelfish is made from mirror glass so its pretty funky, I cut out every piece by hand and randomly put back together and grouted, there is minimal grout area in my mosaics I’m a bit too picky and every possible bit is mosaic filled! Approximate size: 46x43 Centimetres
The big shattered mosaics are pretty huge at over a metre and very wide, again these are completely made of mirror glass and look really cool especially against a coloured wall, they make the weirdest reflections! I’d been commissioned to do both the ones pictured (I should add I also by chance got & started both commissions exactly 2 days after the birth of both my babies- weird timing!) I’ve never actually had these on view, not a fan of hanging my own stuff in the house seems a bit odd, if anyone could offer a home to the stiletto or fish for a bargain price for something this labour intensive get in touch, i’m saving for a vintage desk so the funds would be useful, all ready to hang.

Thanks, hope someone likes them! Lou

I absolutely love mosaic and yours are fab! You have filled every gap with tile or mirror, it must have taken forever. Well done.
