my wooden floored clapham flat
      #74774 - 19/08/2009 17:57

Hello everyone, im Gayle and im nervous, there i have said it, and im nervous because having recently moved into a flat with my sister, i want you all to see our work in progress, being a long time reader but a new poster, makes me scared because there are some amazing places on here.

Some boxes are still to be unpacked and some areas still to be made pretty, but please have a look at what we have done, with a mix of old, new and handmade, we are very happy with our little wooden floored flat. Hope you guys like it too.

hey gayle, this place looks really lovely, the wooden floors and the mix of things you have collected makes it look really nice.

So far so good Gayle. Love the quirky mixture of things you have and how you have displayed them. I like that it shows personality rather than just looking like a show home.
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Hi Gayle, don't be nervous! We are a friendly bunch, really!!!

I used to live in Clapham and really liked it, there. Your flat looks lovely, so far. I really like the Oriental looking art piece on the shelving unit (the one with the close-up shot). As has already been said, it shows great potential and personality. Look forward to seeing its progression.

Hi Gayle - don't be nervous! You have a great mix of stuff - it shows you have a good eye. I love your telephone table and also the pouffe. The retro picture on the wall is fab too - I am currently looking for something like that in the charity shops. A never ending search, I feel!! Would love to see more pics in the future.

hi everyone thanks for all your encouraging comments, its lots of fun putting things in place, my real problem at the moment is finding nice looking things to go in the upstairs bedroom that has big slopping ceilings as its in the roof under the eves so everything has to fit.i need some glamourous looking storage ideas.
