I did this painting recently, using gold paint and sequins to embellish it. the painting was quite dark and i wanted to bring some light into it. The sequins were the answer! It took me weeks to come up with a design i liked, then to work out how to paint it and embellish it, but now I love it!!! the gold paint needed 3 coats before it looked ok.

Very eyecatching! Well done for creating a truly original piece of art! What did you paint it on - canvas? or a panel?
I would love to see a picture of it in-situ on your wall...

thankyou  It is acrylic on canvas. I havent put it up yet because I painted it ready for my new flat. I'm hoping to move in the next few months.
