Are Springbok's Waterproof?

Hi All,

Have a taken a fancy to the Springbok Skin Rug over at Graham & Green

But the only place I can think of putting it is in the bathroom for use as a bathmat. Silly question, but, is using a hide rug as a bathmat a bad idea? Only drawback I can think of is that it may get dirty... or I may get hairy feet when I come out of the bath... hmmn.
