Hi all
we've been renovating our home and have created a lovely new kitchen / diner. It has light beigy coloured porcelain floor tiles, white gloss units and a sand-coloured concrete worktop.
Now we're struggling to decide what kind of splashback to have on the walls around cooker and sink. We do have some bog-standard white, square ceramic tiles however I'm loathe to use them as everything else is so modern, I feel they will kind of let the room down! My only other ideas have been a white glass splash (but i fear glass splashbacks are already becomin a bit passe?) or stainless steel which I quite like but my partner doesnt.
Are there any other non-tile options, or any modern looking tiles out there (preferably white or natural looking?) that would complement the light, airy and modern feel of our kitchen?
all suggestions very welcome!!!! thanks ps i've added a pic not great but gives an idea

I would go for glass splash May be something with bright colour...
Stainless steel will be horrendous to keep clean, but have you considered stone which colour would match with the concrete worktop?

how about something like these, fixed upright like the image.

I used them in my fire hole and they're a great colour grey with a few tiny sparkly bits in.
