LivingEtc: Beware the leather thats not!

just sharing this experience that my Mrs had the other day with her handbag. she always insists on real leather products and dosen't like any of this fake stuff so she is normally pretty good a spotting a fake but the hand bag got through her net and fooled her for near on a year. The bag should of cost around £60.00 but was bought at the bargain price of £30.00 and it held up to the test of being real leather (like the label stated it was very well) until the handle snapped and roused suspicion. upon further investigation and after using the lighter test(the heat burns and melts all fakes but dosen't harm the real leather)it failed miserably, she duly returned it to the shop where the same bag was still being sold at a fantastic discount price of £30.00 and got a refund....turns out the only thing on it that was real leather was the label that stated this, fortunately the shop was reasonable and gave a refund but I thought I would mention this so no other ladies get caught out by this scam.
