I'm doing my bathroom up in quite a traditional style but definately need an extractor fan due to the level of condensation I get in there. Every one I've found looks cheap and naff. Has anyone found a tasteful or discreet option or other way round this?
My tiles are coloured so 'discreet' flat square white ones will not look great. I will have chrome about, so an unashamed chrome one could work (not chrome effect plastic like, they seem to be!)
Am also considering putting it in the ceiling - though most of those seem to have LEDs embedded in them, which I do not want next to my traditional central light.
Please can anyone help!

Not sure if these are the naff LED ones you were talking about, but they are certainly different http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/designer-fans-1943-0000
This one may work with traditional fixings but I have no idea if its chrome or plastic with a chrome effect http://www.sparksdirect.co.uk/manrose-lp...6qoh6iohabkht01
Same dilemma for this one http://www.sparksdirect.co.uk/manrose-lp...6qoh6iohabkht01
This would be my choice for looks but again not sure if its too modern for your bathroom. Chrome plated plastic http://www.alertelectrical.com/Fans-And-...e-ICON15CCH.asp

Thanks llamaface. Both the manrose and airflow options look good options to look into.
Yes - I'd seen similar to the plumbworld 'designer' selection in my night of dispair - the discreet ones at the bottom probably would look fine on plain white tiles though.

The airflow one had good feedback from forum members a while back so might be worth doing a quick search through to see what was said about it.

I went with the 'airflow' and am very happy with it. It looks absolutely fine, is great quality, extracts really well and is so quiet. I love the way it opens up to work then closes discreetly down when switched off.
Thank you llamaface and houseenvy for your help with this one.
