I havent bought from F&B, but a friend has and she imparted some wisdom from the experience - dont buy the mattresses! You can find the same brands cheaper elsewhere.

We bought our bed from And So To Bed, and its lovely, so comfy and really good quality so I recommend them. The sales assistants arent the best though!

Our bed is from Feather and Black and everything was great. We had no complaints about the service or goods at all. One thing we didn't realise at the time (and it may not still be the same but it's worth checking) but the prices online were slightly less than buying from a showroom. So although we got a big discount as they were having a promotion, we could have saved a little more by ordering online.

Hi - I ordered an upholstered bed from them and expect delivery at the end of this month. Obviously I don't have the bed yet but they look like good quality and well made and if you are after an upholstered one like me it was a struggle to find anything simple and stylish in the choice of fabric I wanted elsewhere. Will keep you posted if I have any problems when the bed arrives.

Thanks Tigerpug - why did you decide to go with And so to bed? they are lovely but sooo expensive -- would love to know how I could persuade my other half to shop there?!

They are pretty expensive i know, but to me a bed is the best place in the world so worth spending a bit more sometimes! We bought a sleigh bed from there before the credit cost took hold.

I havent been into Feather and Black, but I am sure they are lovely. If you are interested in a bed from ASTB they have sales all the time - we got 15% off.

I'm from Feather & Black and am happy to answer any questions you may have. We offer great quality products, exclusive to us with solid wood wherever possible, dovetailed drawers and solid drawer fronts. We have a sale on at the moment with up to 50% off and there are some great bargains to be had. All of our products come with a guarantee, we can deliver and assemble your bed and our website give you important information on all aspects of the buying process.

You mentioned you are having a delivery at the end of the month, if you have any questions in the meantime then give our lovely customer service girls a call on 01243 380 600, of course you'll always get to speak to a real person.

I hope i've been helpful

Feather and Black are great, but for something a little different try www.flemingtondesign.com all I have heard is good things.

They stock a few beds almost identicle of "And so to bed" bed's for less than half their price.

I have heard they are supplying Kylie Minongue beds for the launch of her new season bedding collection and have just supplied the headboards for the "posh totty" in the new St Trinians movie. We have a bed on order should be delivered and assembled for us by Flemington Design next week.

We bought our Tosca bed and mattress from Feather and Black and have honestly been delighted. We went for a superking in the end and one of the pricier mattresses. Yes, it was pricey, but when you break it down to a cost per use basis it really isn't very much. Personally speaking I can't put a price on a good night's sleep, especially if you have young kids and need all the rest you can get!
