hang on wall electric fires

Does anyone have any info on those hang on the wall electric fires, like 'Dru' or Dimplex SP4 or SP9, with smart glass ? They look like plasma TVs but are radiators with different flame effects. But do they really work ? Can you leave them on all day/night ? Any advice really welcome ....

I have one they look nice but if its for the heat they dont give out a lot you can have the flame going without the heat and can look nice in the evening also they are remote controlled hope this helps..
