Hi All,
I decided to do a mini makeover on my bedroom. This makeover cost me approx 90 euro! I ordered new white curtains online from Dekko at 26 euro for the pair, dropped into TK Maxx on Saturday and bought two new orange lamp shades - 12 euro each. Plus I picked up a grey throw and a purple cushion - 20 euro each. And lets not forget the new orange jewellery stand that someone from this forum very generously sent me for free!! Thanks flower! I still need to hang some art but here are the before and after shots so far.

I really love the orange lampshades, they really help to soften the room. Great to see something done on a small budget for a change!!

I agree, the lamps look fab with the orange shades. Your pendant light is also really nice. Think it will look even better once you have some art above the bed. Assuming that's where you'd intended it for, LOL!

Thanks for the feedback. I had been searching high and low for new shades for so long i almost gave up. I can't believe i found such lovely lampshades for so little money.
And yes I plan on hanging some art above the bed. Once the funds build up again.

Flower - the square thing is a little collage i made from my stendig calendar. I can't bring myself to throw away the sheet once the month has passed. Silly but true.

Mmm, liking the orange shades too. They really add a bit of zing. And it's very refreshing to see a transformation for under 100 euros

GFG - thanks. i think the shades are a definite hit. I thought I was going to have to spend at least 40-50euro each for nice lampshades. And I almost walked out of TK Maxx with no shades as i could only find one but my partner found the second one hidden inside another shade. phew!
