Credit crunch cottage
      #67703 - 04/05/2009 19:59

Here are some photos from my Middx cottage! Have been on a bit of a budget and tried to find cheaper alternatives to the designer things I love.

This is my new curtain. I was dithering for ages about whether to buy the Florence Broadhurst Kabuki fabric to cover this door, but it is sooo expensive. Then sanderson came out with this dandelion clocks fabric, which a similar vintage feel, so went with this instead.

I love the smeg fridges, but found this Asko one online, which again has a similar look. Paint used in kitchen is farrow and ball gervase yellow and a Mr White clock on the wall

Really like the mid-century Danish look. Tried to re-create this feel with a coffee set I found in a charity shop.

This Kartell lamp was the first piece I bought when I started getting interested in interiors. Five years on I still really like it! The book case was ex-display in Laura Ashley.

Here is the kitchen light from John Lewis, the shop is great for designer looks on the cheaper side.

Didn't know what to do with pictures. As a wedding present we were given these framed pictures, which are actually book linings.

The door curtain looks great and I really like the coffee set - that was a lucky find. Keep up the good work!
