Thanks!! It is so nice to read the comments.

The art work are actually posters from the Zürich opera, once the shows are over you can buy them at a poster shop just down the road from the opera. I keep meaning to go on a city trip to Zürich, if only I had time and some one to look after my two darlings while I go poster shopping.

well done it looks great! i especially like the black around the fireplace - and it looks like pale grey on the rest of that wall, is that right?

like the tripp trapp chair too, my brother and i had one each growing up!

The 'long' walls are light grey and the short ones are white, or they used to be white, 3 years and many log fires later they are starting to resemble the grey walls.
We changed the firepace from white to black after a couple of months, instead of only above the door opening it is black all over now.

The floor is cork, it used to be dark brown but we've painted it white with paint for garage floors.
